but everything can happen tbh, just remember that x360 was in front of ps3 by a big margin and no one expected ps3 would surpass 40m units and by the end of the generation ps3 ended up as 2nd place with 85m units sold, i don't think releasing a new console at 500usd is the answer to recover tho, hopefully ms finds ou that what xbox is missing is good quality exclusives like the x360 had.
