  • The period from 1800 to 1899, almost synonymous with the 19th century (1801–1900)
1800s is not the same thing as the 19th century. That's what the OP said. Everyone from the 1800s is dead. Two people from the 19th century are still alive, while these articles said they're all dead.

I thought the OP believed the 1800s are the 18th century, the way he exposed it totally looked like that
