Next "It's not that great" game

The few last of us haters sometimes tend to bring up the fact that the game is highly cinematic, but I always tell them to play the game on the highest difficulty. That tends to shut them up. If that doesnt shut them up then multiplayer generally does. Naughty Dog games are no slouch in the gameplay department.

 

I dont hear many people talking about odyssey or Red Dead though in a negative light. You cant find a better sole platformer than Mario Odyssey and with Red Dead you probably wont find many open world games that will stop what Read Dead has planned...not even BOTW.

I didn't like the first Red Dead and I have zero interest in platformers, Mario or otherwise.  Popular or not has nothing to do with it.  Red Dead I was pretty excited about and bought the GOTY edition and I've owned three different Mario games without ever finishing a single one.  They just did not end up being to my tastes and I have no problem with other people loving them.

While I liked Red Dead, I didn't like it as much as most players did. I laughed out loud the first time I tried to walk John Marston into water, watched the water remain totally static, and saw him insta-die at the speed of light as soon as it reached his mouth. I'll take the XB360 port of Gun any day....On topic: I'm in the "all of them" camp. All high profile games are going to attact a certain number of vagabonds who post negatively about them due to less than legitimate reasons, as well as the honest dissenters who simply don't like them as much as the majority for valid reasons.
