That's pretty much all I'll ever see the Shield line as, just another refinement for the Switch. The Shield itself has virtually nothing of added value outside of aiding Nintendo.

About as exciting as the first reveal of the Shield.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
