Well if you don't want to be fair that's fine but that's like saying Switch launch was amazingly better in Japan compared to PS4 because in Japan the PS4 was not released for months later.

Fair hasn't got anything to do with it. But if you want to talk fair......
- You either take all the "first weeks" of a console release in all the territories it released in regardless of the month it released and add them all up to get one global first week.
- Or you take the launch week of the console regardless of how many territories it released in in the launch week ONLY.
Now why (2) is fair? If MS had X number of XB1 consoles available for launch, picking and choosing where to launch was a strategic decision coupled with the fact that that was as many as they could make prior to launch. Now if nintendo had the exact same X number of consoles but instead chose to launch everywhere? they still only have the stock they were able to make regardless of how many territories they released in.
MS made a finite number of consoles. MS decided which territories was most important to them and launched there first. If MS decided to do a global launch then every territory would have got fewer units. Simple as that. Its no ones fault but MS taht MS released here and not there. But the real kicker is that even if they released globally, they still would only be able to share what they had available for those 13 countries they released in.
