What do you class as an average game score?

On a scale of 1-10, 5-6 would be average (5 would effectively be "average with issues"). 1-5 scale (with none of those cop out percentiles) is way easier; 1 is utter garbage, 3 will scratch that genre itch, 5 is an event, fill in the blanks.
