It will be interesting to see how this game ends up selling on the Switch.

One one hand the game did originally come out in 2013 and is an old ass port to the Switch, but on the other hand it is also extremely popular still, just take a look at how many people are still constantly playing it on Steam.

There are no other FPS's on the Switch currently either (at least not any that I can think of?) , so if they got it out sooner than later in the year perhaps people would buy it just because they want an FPS to play on their Switch. It's also a game big on multiplayer, which is one of the reasons the Switch was essentially made for, and if they could get the controls onto a single Joy-Con this could easy be one of those games that get popular with just handing 3 other Joy-Cons to some friends and playing a heist together.
