Agreed but this one wasn't a lie so much as a poor translation.  Though, yes, they all have and do lie...though there are sometimes moments when it's not a lie when they say it and things change that make it become one.    Release dates are a good example.  Date X may be the expected day when they announce it.  Releasing it on Day Y doesn't necessarily mean they lied when they said Date X.  But...yeah, they still do lie.

Nintendos ambiguity without clarification isn't really any better than flat out lying either.
