If it takes them 10 years to achieve that I might do that. Currently I have no problem with rock solid 60 fps games.

Then again I might criticize them for not unlocking fps and not using freesync/gsync. It's all about freedom of choice. I would have no problem with the hardware of current consoles if they allowed me to tweak my games to have the performance I prefer. I'm pretty sure that most if not all games could run at 60 fps right now.
