Theres no way Im reading all that.

Highlights anybody who read it please.

Ryuu did this summary over in XBE, I made a few edits to it:

- Forza tech demo, Native 4K & Locked 60FPS with Dynamic Weather

- Took Turn 10 two days to get it up and running on early prototype Scorpio hardware

- Was shown the Forza demo running with 4K assets and the same high level of detail car model for all cars in the grid, GPU usage 55%-70%

- Settings cranked up to PC Ultra causes GPU usage to hover around 88% with some spikes to 100%, still 60 fps

- 4K Assets (textures) only hit the GPU by 1%

- Other developers are seeing the similar results with their games.

- Forza tech demo wasn't running on final hardware (we previously learned from another source that the current XDK only has 80% of the final hardware unlocked, full 100% will be available to devs in June supposedly)

-The Forza tech demo was 3 months old, further improvements have been made since then.

Where did you get the dynamic weather from? Dynamic isn't mentioned once in all that text.
Isn't it still the same static pre baked weather as in F6?

I wonder how this will progress to other games. PS3 started with Ridge Race 7 in 1080p60, and a GT4 HD demo as well. That wasn't much of an indication of the rest of the gen. Ofcourse last gen games weren't held back by having to run on older hardware so they evolved and had to sacrifice res/fps. Having to run on the XBox One might be a plus ensuring native 4K on Scorpio will stay possible. I doubt we'll see a lot of actual graphical improvements beyond maybe a few first party titles. I'm still hoping to see dynamic time and weather and longer races in F7 since GT Sport won't do it :(
