Well, they were both right at the time.Excluding exceptioms, Japanese gamed in the 7th generation were falling way behind, and leaving alot to be desired.They were losing identity, trying to be like western games, and most of them were simply underwhelming.(FF XIII, RE 6, Capcom games in general)
But I feel like that, since 2015-2016, the japanese videogame industry had a rebirth.So many great games, even some masterpieces, all cramped up in such a small time.Hopefully Japan keeps pushing it!
