I just watched DF's full analysis, and the performance profiles are even more confusing than before

Both the PS4 and X1 versions run at 1536x864. Odd that they're the same, but it's not unheard off. Then we come to the Pro though: the 4k version runs at 2688x1512, which is over triple the standard PS4 version. The 1080p/60fps mode is a slight overall pixel jump over even that. That's a good chunk more than their linear power difference between the PS4 and Pro, even including the Pro's slight efficiency advantage.

It seems like relative to power, the PS4 version got the least amount of attention, while the Pro version got by far the most. Anyone else find that odd?

PS4 Pro has a higher clocked CPU which probably allows easier rendering of physics which is the demanding aspect of the game.

But I don't think the developers optimised it well on either platform. We have seen that PS4 and PS4 Pro is capable of more.

There's a limit to how much credit we can give to the CPU here. The Pro only represents a 30%~ boost in that respect, and the 60fps mode will be eating away at that.

Obviously Snake Pass isn't pushing any system particularly hard, i just find its inconsistent performance profiles (relative to the power of each console) interesting.
