Whenever it's mainstream. And I think as long as it's turn based, it probably will stay niche. I mean niche means "intended for a certain market or having a specific appeal". I have no doubt in my mind that the people buying Persona 5, Nioh, Nier are all hardcore gamers and by hardcore games I mean pretty much everyone who isn't like us who goes on gaming forums etc. That's why Final Fantasy isn't a niche game, it is pretty well known in the "average" gaming community, while Persona is definitely not.
