So you use one isolated event as proof that PC gaming is more local multiplayer focused and has more spectatcular events? Dreamhack doesnt proove anything, its a fact that console gaming is favoring more local gameplay as i can just give over my controller to another person. There wouldnt be a need for lan parties like Dreamchack if it would be so easy on PC.

Yes. The PC has larger, bigger, badder and more epic events.
Just to prove it is not an "isolated event" here is the Sydney Gamers League:

Of course. Lots of PC-orientated households have multiple PC's and will happily do local multiplayer... And pretty much 99% of multiplayer games support that.

How many console games support Split Screen multiplayer these days? Exactly. Don't pretend your console has a big advantage here. It doesn't.

Your move, console gamer.

No they havent, just compare the size.

Plenty of games still support splitscreen like Battlefield, Cod, Resident Evil etc. not to mention fighting games

Yes console has an advantge if someone comes to me, the person can immidiatley see what i am playing on a big screen and listen to the sound etc. Its not comfroatable at all to put the person into another PC set and explaining him/her everything. And have fun building (or keeping) multiple PCs which would cost a ton more money overtime.
