Well from one perspective they are all in competition with each other with regards to the consumer electronics market and entertainment market. However, I do not see the Scorpio or Switch really having a negative effect on each other. MS is billing the Scorpio as a premium console option for those that have 4K TVs or are willing to pay a higher price for better graphics; I believe MS knows they are going after a much more narrow target audience with Scorpio versus something like Switch and Xbox One S because Phil Spencer stated,"I call it a premium console because I want people to be clear that the customer we're building that for is the premium gaming customer. The person who buys the majority of the games, the person who's playing the most games, spending the most hours, spending the most dollars". Moreover he went on to state, "the majority of the consoles that we're going to sell are the Xbox One S and I'm very proud of that". The Switch, much like the Xbox One S, is designed to be more accessible and affordable (although it is probably not as affordable as it ought to be, and I think Nintendo will need to do a price cut once the initial wave of sales decreases...but that is for a different topic); I think Switch is in closer competition with One S than with the Scorpio.
