That's a bit extreme, but I can see where they're coming from. I remember Sakurai voicing similar concerns with Smash Bros and the Subspace Emissary storyline. With youtube and twitch these days, it's so easy for important story elements to be spoiled, even if you just want to see some gameplay. That and just watching the game online, rather than playing it.
