I think Thuway has changed his aligance...
I could belive a 6 core Rysen variant at lower clock could be feaseble. And we have seen they showing great performance with high end GPUs.
However a 8 core Ryzen would be too big (at 14nm it has as much transistors as the XOne SOC and 60% of its area) and that is the number MS gave last year.
I don´t know how fast could AMD make a smaller Ryzen core specific for consoles and notebooks.
