It's a sad fact the most popular platforms also attract the worst shovelware (and as a result some of the worst games ever). |
You know what's sadder? I have to waste part of my life PLAYING these games, to see why they're so abysmal. Part of game development is to see what other people have done and failed at, not just what they succeeded at. So part of research is playing those $10 bargin bin games and see what killed them.
Its sort of like having to sit through hours of Yanni just to be a concert musician.
