@ bold
intel already has that... it's called 6900K and it cost 1000+ dollars... it is sort of a tie in performance with the R7 1800X that costs half.

The difference between the 6900K and the 1800X is thus... The 6900K can exceed 4ghz and beat the R7 1800X in almost every single benchmark.

It also has a superior chipset... And it also doesn't perform like a Core i5 in situations.

The R7 1800X is a great value chip, but I would still personally opt for the 6900K if I had a choice and money was no object.

it can beat by a small margin... not double the performance like the price...
Better chipset that makes the motherboard with it cost alot too...

Like a core i5, care to elaborate???

it's not a value chip it's a flagship CPU, prosumer CPU and everyone knows that, but, this last sentence just gives you away... no problem... to each their own... i don't care.

just to wrap this up, i was just passing information in a general matter, didn't try to make R7 look good, in a short sentence i expose the fact intel has that type of CPU, the price and a general comparision to the R7 in performance and price. that was all.
