I am not sure why installs are treated as a negative. Thank God Sony put a hard drive into the PS3. If the 360 had a hard drive, you would "have" to install games also. As it stands now, multi-plat developers need to work around this limitation on the 360. I think you are seeing some problems with aggressive caching on the 360 causing the chronic freezing issues on that platform. Again, a 1 time install and cut scenes = no problem.

I don't run into chronic freezing problems on 360.  That isn't to say that I haven't seen it happen, but I think I've seen it maybe twice over the entire time I've had the console (over a year) and the first time it was due to a bad console that I exchanged the day after I bought it.  The nice thing about the 360 is though that I can put any of the games in my collection into the console at any time and start playing.  I never have to worry about deleting stored install data to make space.  You may say they are not a negative but Konami must.  There is no reason for Konami to attempt to restrict that information unless they saw it as anything other than a negative.

 I give that post a 9.2.

Thank god for the disable signatures option.
