I have the grey switch, begrudgingly bought the pro controller at launch because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get one for a long time if i hated the grip (which I still haven't even tried), I got a carrying case with the deluxe version of BOTW.
The only other game I have purchased is Master Blaster but I haven't even fired that up ... I only have eyes for Zelda right now.
I don't think I've tried table top mode, but I have taken it with me on the go a couple of times (when the GF wants me to go to her place, and once when I went to get an oil change). It is nice to have the portable option but I mostly play it as a home console with the pro controller. I'm not crazy about the joy-cons, very much prefer the Pro.
I am looking forward to Spla2oon but i think I'm going to skip MarioKart for now (i have it on my WiiU).
BOTW alone for me was worth the price of the system. No game has sucked me in like it has since I was a child and had nearly unlimited free time. I tend to play for 5 or 6 hours at a time after work and for a while there I was dreaming about the damn game too when i fell asleep (puzzle after puzzle makes for a restless and unrewarding nights sleep).
