Creative Assembly recently revealed work on its second Total War: Warhammer game has been "underway for some time." Details of the specifics are still coming through, however the developer has now lifted the lid, ever so slightly, on how it plans to keep players engaged throughout its perdurable campaigns—something the strategy genre often struggles with as a whole.

ROCKET LEAGUE IS GETTING 'FATE OF THE FURIOUS' DLC NEXT WEEK

The Fate of the Furious, the eighth film in The Fast and the Furious series, will be out next month. A Hat in Time is still on track for release this year, although exactly when this year remains a mystery. Knuckle Sandwich is the type of game that I want to take home and show to my dad because he's got the same, stupid sense of humour as me. It looks a lot like Earthbound, but as PC Gamer's Tom Marks said in his preview, "it never feels like [developer Andrew] Brophy is trying to lean on that nostalgia to make Knuckle Sandwich work."

 

ABSOLVER TRAILER OFFERS 15 MINUTES OF CHUNKY MELEE COMBAT

Open world biff-'em-up Absolver will be out later this year, and after watching the following video, I for one am very much onboard with its chunky third-person melee combat. It's Zeno Clash meets For Honor over a dinner date with Bushido Blade, or at least, it looks that way to me.

And as someone who owns a VR headset and would like any excuse to spend more time with it, I am more than willing to solve a murder in virtual reality. Well, that's what Tequila Works' The Invisible Hours is all about, as its premise involves a mansion, seven guests, and the mysterious death of inventor Nikola Tesla.
