I look at new gaming hardware like new TVs or new cellphones.
I have one. It's capable but there's already a better version coming, if not already on the market. As long as mine is capable and I'm happy, I don't worry about it. If there's a point where new versions are enticing or my old version doesn't thrill, I upgrade. I'm not, not do I feel a need to be on the cutting edge.
