It's only borked if you think that buying a dvd version gives you the right to stream the 4K version for free.

That's not a correct analogy. The Cemu team has done the work to be able to play the game in 4k on PC. Not Nintendo. If Nintendo releases the game for PC then absolutely, morally you should be buying this version instead of playing on the emulator. But as long as they haven't done so they also haven't put any work/money in running the game on PC.
