Just recently upgraded my PC. Added ram, went from 8gb 1600 mhz to 32gb 2333 mhz, added a WD blue SSD to run OS and Games, and upgraded my GPU from a R9 270X to a MSI Gaming X RX 480... my full specs are in my signature. I hope these upgrades will let me play 1080p at more than 60 fps for some time. thoughts?

You have a very similar config to mine, you just have more memory and a different GPU, but it should suffice for 1080P at 60FPS for at least a couple years.

The only downside is there are already games coming out that you will not be able to enable all the frills on and get 60FPS. GTAV and Watchdogs 2 are two of such games.

Well, I knew getting the RX 480 was just enough to play most games on high settings at 1080p, some even at 1440p but 4k is a different beast and I'm not upgrading to 4k anytime soon, the fact that I can still play AAA games at 1080 will keep me busy for the next couple of years.

Thanks man, you are right it actually runs like new. As for the GPU, for the price range of the RX 480 that performance is still pretty good.
