I like them at 12 episodes, it means the plot will be condensed and not consists of whole episodes where people bicker at one another like an episode/season of the Walking Dead.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
