Funny thing is, they even try to avoid this reaction.

If a game loses frames sometimes or drops below 720p or something, they'll be like, "It's disappointing, but most people won't notice it a majority of the time and the game looks and plays great."

The comments section is always the predictible, "SUB 720p in 2017! SHUT IT DOWN! IT'S OVER!!"

Are those people blind or something. A higher resolution makes a game look way better. Take Ratchet and Clank for instance it looks so much better in 2160p. Every game profits from a higher resolution. And below 720p is very low for a device released in 2017 especially for games which don't look like they have a very big toll on the hardware. Besides didn't all these forums on vgchartz claim the Switch was almost as powerful as a Xone and could run PS4 titles in 720p. Well it turns out it simply can't.

I made it my mission to avoid any and all "NX" rumor threads. I hate speculation because, when it comes to gaming, it's almost always wrong.

With that said, I'm sure people thought it would be powerful based on some misinformation and they didn't take it upon themselves to make this stuff up. Turns out, the Switch isn't very powerful. Don't hold it against them. People just try up enjoy the best experience on the hardware they have.
