Unfortunately, Battleborn went into direct competition with Blizzard's Overwatch. They both released around the same time.
It's really interesting that Borderlands was also somewhat of a copy of Diablo, touting it in media as "FPS Diablo". Then they release the same game Blizzard is making. Makes you wonder if they have someone on the inside their feeding them info on ideas.
It could have been good, but Overwatch basically destroyed it. How do you go against one of the, if not the single most venerated developer with their own game?
