They technically introduce the jetpack gameplay right before the boss, but the fact they shoehorned it in for some boss that only lasts for like 30 seconds is just infuriatingly dumb.
"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
