It doesn't deter me, I'm asking what good it does me. If all Phil did was to go there and beg PS4 ports then no one will buy more Xboxes because of it and neither will I.

People want unique games thats exclusive to Xbox and not available on PS4. Scalebound could've been that game. No one wants PS4 ports on Xbox except for the few stubborn people who refused to buy a PS4 for their animu game needs.

If MS wants to sell me a Xbox it needs its own unique games period. Scalebound could've sold me on one, I'm a PG fanboy and it was one of my most anticipated games of the year. Never gonna forgive Phil for treating PG like shit.

This exclusive or bust mentality is only your psychologycal barrier and in no way it is necessary. I don't need my games to be exclusive to appreciate them and yes I'd like to play games like Nier Automata on Xbox. Why should I care if PS fans can also enjoy them?

Phil going to Japan to get Japanese games is a step in the right direction imo. Even if he isn't going for exclusive unique Xbox only games.

It's not a psychological barrier, it's a valid argument why Xbox is unattractive at the moment for a lot of people and for a part explains why PS4 has sold 60 milion units while Xbone is at 25M or so. Games sell systems. I'm talking about the standpoint of a consumer who doesn't have a Xbox. What will make it attractive to me? The fan base for JPN games on Xbox is quite low, the fan base waiting on PS4 ports is even lower cuz they prolly already got it on PS4. How much did FFXV sell on PS4? 80-90% of total sales? It made sense to bring it to Xbox because of how huge the game is and justified a port but it might not be wise to port smaller games like Nier where a port might not be profitable. Otherwise Xbox would've been getting all the ports if it made sense.
