I had short stint with emulated translated JRPG's, and this was one them. I consider it on par with games like FF4 and Chrono Trigger.
Remember the second half of FF6? It was actually inspired from this very series. You have one main mission and about 30 different quest, but less than half of those have to be done to beat the game.
