2. I also mainly became anti-capitalist as a result of American foreign policy: I came to the conclusion that as capitalism is an inherently competitive economic system, and relies on perpetual expansion of power and presence to survive, so I relized that the only way that it would stop is by a complete overthrow of the current system and its replacement with a cooperative one that is not based on competition.

Capitalism allows for the most efficient distribution of limited resources through supply/demand. It's got some inherent advantages over other systems.
It doesn't require endless growth to survive either, growth just tends to be preferred regardless of the economic system you have in place to create more jobs and wealth. (Case in point: Soviet Russia)

It's not perfect, no system is. But it's proven to work... And can become more effective with regulation which countries like Australia, Norway, Canada, New Zealand, South Korea have proven.

Always considered myself to be someone who was on the left. I do support things like Capitalism, Democracy, Equality, Freedom, Multiculturalism, The Environment. I tend to "err" on the side of religion, I support peoples rights to Freedom of Religion provided it doesn't infringe on my right with Freedom from Religion.

Yeah, that's why there's millions of people starving while tons of food is wasted.
