Gamestop is a tough sell with the Best Buy and Amazon savings on new games. I haven't paid $60 for a game since 2015, and the savings are enough that I no longer feel the need to trade anything in. Gamestop is now the more expensive option, and their customer experience tends to be awful. It sounds like they're still doing fine, but I can see them needing to cut down and diversify in order to maintain their relevance (also maybe don't have 2 Gamestops in a single mall as they did in my area until a few months ago. You could literally walk fifty feet from one to get into the other, the most pointless waste of space I've seen).
