The story and the world is what carries the game, the combat has always been ass, its part of the charm imo. Also they quests are a lot better than basically any other RPG. Even though they can be boring at times its no way near the level of Fallout etc.
I didn't like 1, 2 was meh, but this game won me over about 5 hours in, i easily have over 100 hours logged in this game, that said, its not my GOTY 2015, that goes to Bloodborne, but im am probably the biggest souls fan on this forum.
