Yeah, I find it strange when Skyrim and Fallout fans complain about TW3's combat. Skyrim has a really unsatisfactory and simplified combat system, so does the Fallout games from Bethesda.

It's true that Skyrim's melee combat is kind of nothing, just a means to the end of exploration, but it's also not the only way to play the game.  I play stealth, bows, summoning magic, and destruction magic all before straight melee.  I disagree with you about Fallout, though, especially Fallout 4, which I find very enjoyable in terms of combat, especially with the increased lethality of survival or a mod that lets you select increased damage.  

Fallout is also very different from the Witcher in terms of combat focus so I don't understand why you'd find that strange.  Playing rifles or pistols is nothing like Witcher at all, to the point that a combat comparison makes little sense.  Unless you're talking about Fallout melee?  That's a style I don't care anything about, though, and it's obviously not the only path.
