I'm surprised to see so many people writing "Yeah, it's an okay game, but not as great as everyone says," because all I've seen since it came out is how amazing it is. I'm in the same boat as the OP; I heard it was good, tried it, and don't really like playing it all that much. The art style and lore seem really good, but actually playing the game felt clunky and I wasn't having any fun at all. I really wanted to like it, too. :/
