I'm not sure if meeting demand is as much of an issue anymore. I think the scalpers are more on an issue. If one person has dozens of them, then what does that say for the countless people that are selling them for inflated prices? I think the retailers are the issue here. They need to limit how many of these things a customer can buy. Nowadays, they have bots that can purchase these things online. Even if Nintendo were to step up production, the scalpers would get to them first. I think the best thing that can happen is if people begin to lose interest and the inflated value drops.
