Loved this game from start to finish, proberbly just isn't the game for you, the witcher 2 was also amazing from start to finish and the first game was amazing story-wise but left a little to desire in point of gameplay.
Anyway, most people love the witcher but no game is for everyone so if you don't like it, remember it for games like the witcher in the future and play something you do like. I absolutely hated some games that have critical acclaim too, like Dishonored 2 last year is a good excample, I was waiting for it to get good just to realize I really hated everything about it lol, not the games fault!
