You speak as if all the republicans were working together for the perfect alternative. Quite frankly, there may not be one. Atleast nothing that will please everybody.

All that is certain is Obamacare is shit and something needs to happen.

All that matters is that Obamacare is better than the nothing that existed before. People should strive to fix the bad parts and not just abolish everything and come up with something completely new.

So what did the republicans do the past 7 years? Why didn't they work together on a solution? Why didn't they work together on the current shitty bill? Too busy trying to repeal something they have no proper replacement for?
