The past half-decade has been a very busy one for inXile boss Brian Fargo. His studio successfully crowdfunded and then launched Wasteland 2 and Torment: Tides of Numenera, it's got The Bard's Tale 4 and Wasteland 3 in the works, and he also helped set up the investor-friendly, game-exclusive crowdfunding platform Fig. But his career stretches back a whole lot farther than that—Moby cites his first credit as an Apple II adventure called The Demon's Forge, and he very famously headed up the glory days of Interplay—and now, according to Eurogamer, he's starting to feel an urge to try something else.

Arkane Studios has just released the third major update for Dishonored 2. According to the release notes, this update comes with various UI optimizations, adds a a « Full » option for the « Mana Replenish » setting and adds an option to hide the quick select dock.

 

ROUTINE, FIRST-PERSON SCI-FI SURVIVAL HORROR GAME, HAS BEEN DELAYED

Lunar Software’s first-person sci-fi survival horror game, Routine, was meant to hit the PC this month. However, the team has just announced that the game has been slightly delayed.

Kotaku, by way of an Italian retailer, has obtained leaked photos of a Destiny 2 poster which indicates a September 8th release date, at least for Europe, as well as a pre-release beta test. The report comes from Jason Schreier, who says that the official announcement will be made soon, and who has previously reported that Bungie's MMO shooter is coming to PC this time. That report came following an identical PC rumor posted to NeoGAF.

ALPHA PHASE BEGINS IN LATE APRIL FOR THE CO-OP ACTION RPG INSPIRED BY MONSTER HUNTER, DAUNTLESS

Phoenix Labs has announced that it will be rolling out its closed, invite-only Alpha tests over the coming months to help it deliver the best experience possible to players. The first Alpha test is currently planned to begin in late April, and gamers can sign-up in order to participate in it.

 

TITANFALL 2 FREE DLC 'COLONY REBORN' IS COMING AT THE END OF THE MONTH

Respawn has announced that the next Titanfall 2 DLC, Colony Reborn, will be out on March 30, and free for all players. The DLC will feature an updated version of the Colony map from the original Titanfall, which Respawn first revealed in January, and will also add a new weapon, the R-101 Carbine, a new execution called "Curb Check," and new cosmetic items including Prime skins for Northstar and Legion, new camos, callsigns, and more.
