I already know the Switch's screen is comparable to the Vita as a whole, which is where i imagine his issue stems from. You might be able to take them off, but if you're using the Switch as a handheld (which he assumably is, based on his comparison to the Vita) then the JCs are somewhat necessary to... well, play on it. With the JCs, the Switch is a decent chunk larger. I see no contradiction.
