Here's what Yoko Taro tweeted:

“I want to see a Vita successor. That feeling has calmed down a bit after the release of Switch, but I want to play something on a slightly smaller next-gen handheld console. I want something that could satisfy my itch that can’t be done through a smartphone without physical buttons.”

So with the bolded in mind, Vita is certainly smaller and more comfortable for his preferences. He's entitled to his opinion, he doesn't have to give you a detailed explanation about what he exactly wants. Jesus.. everything must be seen through console-war glasses. Just like they bitched and whined about Automata's NIN64 item, they'll bitch and whine again about some guy's humble opinion. There is more than enough material now for conspiracy theorists to riot lol.

Of course he is completely entitled to his opinion, the problem is when people tries to use this opinion against the console and claim it has a problem just cause this guy is already very used to the size of his Vita and thinks switch is big, specially when many times this people haven't hold it on their hands to claim that is too big.

I totally thought switch was not very portable, and then i tried it, I saw it in fron of me, and I realized that screen fits in most pockets, so I was pleasently surprised to see the thing is indeed pretty portable and I think some people has the same impression I had before touching it and kind of use comments like this to confirm their fears (or in some cases wishes), that's all.

Of course we also cannot rule out the posibility of this guy just seeing something wrong with switch cause he wants to see something wrong with it, happens constantly when someone doesn't want to accept that he could actually love something from a different brand, there is nothing evil about it but it happens.
