Streaming could cause some technical problems. Plus you don't get to keep the games when you unsubscribe. And you've no control over what games enter/exit the rotation.

Is there a rotation? I thought once games qare available they are there permanently.

Oh, maybe so. I figured every now and then a game or series might get pulled, a la Netflix. I'll defer to others for the definitive answer.
