Secondly regressive right makes no sense because the right (far right, alt-right) is already considered a pejorative term.

Thirdly, self-righteous right wingers are a dying breed and do not have much of a voice in the MSM which leans left. Or are you're talking about Islamists - I wonder whether they considered self-righteous religious right wingers?

Lastly, I will ask you - what's your question or point? Did you just post to essentially say that the term offends you?

NONE of it makes sense because it isn't a political issue! That is my problem! You linked a story that is deplorable, with wich i agree that lots of people were incredibly toxic about and should be ashamed of themselves and all of a sudden you peg it to political preference? What?! Political preference has nothing to do with societal behaviour. Most parties today even only use certain political currents as inspiration and pave their own propositions.

To simply peg this as a general wing side is nothing more than political propaganda, and i will call you out on that.
