Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth is a fantastic game.
And now its getting a sequel !

"Cyber Sleuth's plot borrows from other properties pretty liberally, but the mashup of the plots of Sword Art Online, Soul Hackers and a bunch more actually works. The game focuses on an online MMO/life simulator called EDEN. A hacker gives you a piece of code that allows you to capture Digimon. This unsolicited gift is the start of your troubles, as you are immediately attacked by a malevolent force called Eater. The battle separates your mind in the game from your body, effectively trapping you in the virtual world." - gamerstemple.

World & story: in Cyber Sleuth is fantastic.
Combat: I love turn based combat rpgs.

I havnt played "Digimon World Next Order" the videos of it I saw, just didnt appeal to me nearly as much as Cyber Sleuth's did.

Digimon Cyber Sleuth is not a fantastic game. I would not recommend it to anybody not a major fan of franchise. Hell, if you are a major fan of Digimon, but not into basement otaku anime garbage then you may still have hard time with this one. I actually recommend Digimon: Dawn/Dusk, which Cyber Sleuth is just a console version of. Doubled the amount of Digimon, A better/faster battle system, and a Plot and tone inline with what you'd expect from Digimon anime.

The plot of actually Digimon borrows heavily from Digimon manga/Japan only animes, specifically Digimon Evolution X. Royal Knights/Yggdrasil have been done to death, so even the climax of the plot is just blah.
