Daredevil, Jessica, and Luke are all trying to save others in their first episode, but Danny is just having a conflict with his half-siblings. Aside from the fact that Danny seems somewhat nice, and his stepbrother is a douche, I'm not sure exactly why I should care.

because we've seen the hand is evil in Daredevil and Danny mentions in episode 2 he's the sworn enemy of them and has to defend heaven's city.  That's a pretty major concern.
