AMD Radeon Crimson ReLive Edition 17.3.2, optimized driver for Mass Effect: Andromeda

AMD has released a new driver for its graphics cards. According to the release notes, the AMD Radeon Crimson ReLive Edition 17.3.2 driver is optimized for BioWare’s new sci-fi action RPG, Mass Effect: Andromeda.

Microsoft blocks Windows Update from being used in Windows 7/8.1 on AMD’s & Intel’s newest CPUs

A few months ago, Microsoft announced that it would not support AMD’s Ryzen and Intel’s Kaby Lake CPUs in both Windows 7 and Windows 8.1. However, we did not expect the company to block the complete usage of its Windows Update tool on those particular systems.

Vulkan will support multiple GPUs only in Windows 10

Vulkan is a low-level API that made everyone cry the moment Khronos Group announced that it would support both Windows 7 and Windows 8.1. However, it appears that its multi-GPU functionalities will only be available in Windows 10.

Bethesda has released a new trailer for Arkane’s PREY that focuses on the game’s alien entities known as Typhon. In PREY, players take the role of Morgan Yu, who is at the center of Talos I’s experiments, who must fight the Typhon aboard the highly advanced space station owned by the TranStar Corporation. PREY releases on May 5th.
