Microsoft is taking a deliberate approach where they pushed for sales at the end of last year, knew Sony would start the year well, forfeit it and then start pushing their new console in E3 and continueing that forward to the end of the year and all of 2018.

If people like or dislike the strategy thats their own desision but its not going to be a good month for Xbox anytime soon, all their exlcusives launch after E3 and all their announcements are being saved. And things like Gamepass and BC titles are nice but won't push sales.

But do you see how silly taht all sounds if true?

Peopel keep talking about this scorpio thing like its a new console. hell you even said it in your post. Its not. Its like a PS4pro. A more expensive albeit more powerful version of the already existing console. And when it comes to market be rest assured that it would be the most expensive console on the market and would be competing with a PS4 that would most likely be $200.

Its like MS has just refused to understand that games really is what sells hardware. And price is just as important.... just look at PS4pro sales compared to sales of the PS4..... this notion that everyone wants a 4k console and is willing to spend upwards of $400 (and thats not even including the 4k tv) is just beyond me. Three years in a row MS has adopted the same strategy. Be MIA through out the year then have a massive holiday push and just not lose as bad in one territory. But still lose.

Saving their announcements? More power to them I guess.
