Don't worry. I have the Pro and I barely notice any differences in the games. Framerate is the same, on the Pro there are just less framedrops. But 30 fps games don't run in 60 fps. I also don't see any real upgrade with supersampling. It looks a little tiny bit nicer, but you only notice it if you really look for it. I'm only using a 1080p display though, maybe the differences are bigger on a 4K TV.

If the Scorpio indeed has 12Gb of ram, which seems all but confirmed, it will use higher level textures which will make a much more substantial inpact in the graphics displayed on any display then supersampeling. About the rest of the architecture in the scorpio rumours are rampad and its hard to know anything for sure but a stronger CPU could be a night- and day difference, something the PS5 will no doubt also be, in terms of performance in open world games and in achieving higher framerates overall.

The Xbox One (s) is slower then the PS4 and the Xbox Scorpio is faster then the PS4 Pro. The difference is already confirmed to be greater between the two Xbox devices just by these facts and if the memory- and cpu upgrades are as big as they seem to be the scorpio might not feel like a small upgrade for 1080p or 4k users.

Obviously it will be game dependend, when you look at the PS4 pro a game like Nier Automata or Shadow or Mordor have quite a big upgrade where other games look so simulair many will be hard stretched to see the difference, but I am sure Microsoft developed games and the companies they partner with (warner bros, bethesda and prob. Ea) will look a leaque above their PS4 counterpart.

The big question is if people will buy an Xbox for that, some will for sure others will just wait for PS5 but Xbox announced the console more then a year before release so anyone owning an XBox One (s) should not feel like a second hand, left behind gamer, they are still getting support and knew what was going on, Phil has been very transparrant in that regard
