I'm a second class citizen now with my standard ps4 compared to ps4 pro and guess I'll soon be second class for my xbox one. Every game I buy now for either will be worse looking with inferior frame rates compared to the upgraded consoles. This is something new in the industry. I suppose the N64 high resolution pack did the same where if you didn't have the upgrade your graphics were inferior but at least that upgraded the original console and didn't require a new one. It's now pretty much the same as ios, android and pc where your old games suddenly play much better on your newer hardware. That android game that chugged at low detail and 720p now has silky smooth 60fps at 1080p with maximum detail and seems 10x better than before all thanks to tablet 2011 being replaced by tablet 2016.
Maybe its time to revisit older titles and save myself the money of buying new games on ps4 pro or scorpio when I get them?
